The "B" Association will host the 2008 Coaches' Dinner, Sunday, July 27 at Lone Star Cafe in San Antonio, Texas.

All Baylor Alumni who are Texas High School Coaches are encouraged to join Baylor head football coach Art Briles and the rest of the football coaching staff for a BBQ buffet dinner. Interested coaches should contact Tammy Hardin at (254) 710-3045.

This year's event drew close to 50 letterwinners, family and friends to Galveston for our annual deep sea fishing excursion and a great time was had by all.

We would like to express our thanks to all those who attended and a special thanks goes out to our hosts, Robin "Big Cat" Jones and Santana Dotson, as well as Fred Miller, Gregg Erwin, and Paul Kluge for their contributions in making this event a very memorable one. We hope to see you all again next year!

This year's classic, held on April 4th at Twin Rivers Golf Course in Waco, had the largest turnout in the tournament's thirteen year history!

More than 200 golfers participated. On behalf of "B" Association President Jay Jeffrey and Baylor Men's Golf Coach Greg Priest, we want to thank all of you who helped make the 2008 Fightin' Bear Golf Classic a big success.

We are already looking forward to '09!
